I love what you guys are doing and LyX has truly become amazing. I hope this will not cost me any friends. The page is mirrored on my homepage and can be found here. Ever since 1.4.0, I have the feeling that the time will be very soon. I have not switched to Lyx for good yet but use it on and off. While LyX improves at an incredible rate (expecially given its few but very hard-working developers), SWP has been fairly stagnant. I have tried all kinda replacements where LyX is probably the most prominent but the list is much longer. which barely runs in today's classic environment. I even own a version for Mac OS 9 which I bought over ebay. However, I am very unhappy that SWP has *only* a windows version which runs okayish under Linux+Wine but to date I can only run it below Virtual PC with Windows NT (it hurts!) on my facorite computer, i.e., a Mac. With the commands in the menu, you can calculate over 150 units of physical measurement.I have been using Scientific Workplace (SWP) since my first year at Technical University of Munich in 1996 and I remain a big fan of it to date. You can calculate, numerically or numerically, the derivative, the solution of algebraic and differential equations. The MacKichan Scientific Workplace uses natural mathematical cues, so you don’t have to apply complex syntax to be able to evaluate, simplify, solve, or put in mathematical expressions. When you type a word incorrectly, the program will display them with a wavy red line. It also has an open source program called MySpell which includes a large number of dictionaries for over 40 countries. Depending on your print and portable needs, you can save or export your documents in a variety of formats.
